He typically writes about topics that are usually ignored by most people or topics that are not well known.
He worked for several years as a journalist, photographer, and documentary film editor.
He likes working on independent short films and blogging his thoughts and opinions on Mental_floss magazine.
I liked his post because it talked about and recognized a couple other riots that have occurred throughout history, yet they are not mentioned as often as others.
This blog/post relates to the chapter because the description at the beginning was of the Chicano Moratorium and how the police attacked the Chicanos that were protesting at Laguna Park. The Zoot Suit Riots are similar to this rioting at Laguna Park because they both were caused by unfair treatment from the police towards the Chicanos due to racism.
Hey Cynthia, I agree with your post on this chapter. I think it connects well to the topic of the riots. I also like the blog you chose, he seems like a reliable source who would focus on topics that are seen throughout the book.
