I got this picture fromThis picture connects to the chapter because it shows how in school teachers separate kids from different race even though they get along to each other.
I didn't like this chapter because on how the school make the students do something they don't like. And if they didn't do it they wouldn't graduate from school.
I will remember how Oscar at the end of the chapter he started putting his head up and saying he was going to be the best criminal lawyer in the history of the world.
Yeah they sure (about the teachers), its funny how it is through them that we learn to separate each other. well may of the teachers have changed now though. Another thing that would separate us was the separation of the fluent english speaker and the non-fluent english speakers (in my school that was hispanics). The school created the barrier that sticks through out high school
ReplyDeleteTHIS PICTURE DOES IN FACT SHOW THE TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT THAT STUDENTS FOUND THEMSELVES IN MOST SCHOOLS BACK IN THOSE DAYS. IT IS VERY SAD THAT KIDS WEREN'T ABLE TO INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER BASED ON THEIR SKIN COLOR AND ETHNICITY.
