I found this blog written by cindylu.
She write about how not just Brown vs. Board of Education wasn't the only big segregation case. There was a case called Mendez v. Westminster (1946) case challenged the segregation of white and Mexican students in Westminster, Garden Grove and El Modeno school districts. It was the first time ever that a judge wrote an opinion stating that separate is never equal.
she works as a student & research analyst.
She likes to write about things that matter to her the most. She represents her culture as much as she can.
I liked this post because it shows that african american and latino(a) are all going through the same struggles and we need to unite and overcome these obstacles together.
This post relates to this chapter because in chapter 2 the latino(a) kids were put in a different line than the american kids. That is segregation and it made people feel outcasted.
