Chapter 4

I got this video from YouTube.

This connects to the chapter because in the book Brown goes back to Northern California to seek advice from a fasting Cesar Chavez. Chavez tells Brown that he must start the movement in Southern California so that Chicanos will be treated equally.

I liked this chapter because the advice that Chavez gave Brown was very knowledgeable and valuable information. I have always respected Chavez for doing so much through his philosophy of not resorting to violence, which is shown in this chapter.

What I will remember most about this chapter is Chavez's ability to convince Brown to join the forces. Even when Brown says that he does not want to be a lawyer, Chavez quickly responds by saying that no one in their right mind would want to be a lawyer convincing Brown to join.
