I got this picture from Google pictures. This picture connects to a moment in chapter two when he talks about how the teacher made Mexican students march separately from American students. This picture shows two differently lines. One of the lines is filled with colored students and the other with white students. I like this chapter because he brings up his childhood and how there was still segregation in integrated schools. He knows this is not right so he stands marches to the principle and approaches him with this problem. I think i will remember most of this chapter is the part where the teacher lines children by height then partners them up with kids by their race.
